The taking music and art to the streets program continues to grow in number, with over 400 youth served in 2017. In addition to music and art instruction, youth (ages 12-24) receive clothes and shoes, a hot meal, take-away food packages, hygiene supplies, and more. Case management is also provided to assist youth with obtaining health care, housing referrals, job placement, etc. Photocharity focused a lot of effort on public relations and community education during the year, which resulted in several newspaper features, two television interviews, and more than 75 speaking engagements in the community.
