Our two main programs, a community store and a book project, distribute like-new donations to those in need in our community.Grassroot Givers continued its mission of making a connection between the needs in our community and those with resources to share. Our two main programs, a community store and a book project, distribute like-new donations to those in need in our community. In 2018, Grassroot Givers gave away, free of charge, $78,827 worth of donated clothing and housewares and $55,040 worth of donated books to people in need. This environmentally friendly business model keeps donations out of the landfill by recycling and re-purposing beautiful in-kind donations.We support individuals and families in poverty.
