Mission

Form youth sports volleyball teams to compete regionally and nationally.

About

ITVC held tryouts in order to form 11 teams this season ages U12-U18 for a total of 115 players. Scholarship monies were used to contribute to multiple players across the age groups and teams based on a need base request. All money collected from players dues go to Island Thunder to pay for services rendered such as coaching and training young athletes in the sport of volleyball, providing opportunities for skill development during practices and opportunities to compete at various tournaments throughout the season. All 11 teams completed their seasons with overall success and multiple girls will be moving on to play volleyball at the collegiate level next year.
