Our mission is to remove the negative impacts of hunger and empower these children to get the most out of their education and development. Currently, Food for Thought serves 32 schools in Walton and Okaloosa counties, providing backpacks for more than 3,300 students each week. Volunteer resources are integral part of food distribution, particularly in the packaging of fresh produce, bagging children's food bags, and sorting donated food.
