About
Brentwood Mountain: The WCRC received a grant from the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission to evaluate ongoing streambank erosion, develop a stream restoration plan, and implement the restoration plan for a section of the West Fork White River in Washington County, Arkansas. The Beaver Watershed Alliance is an active partner in the project providing the matching funds to the WCRC for the project. The project will result in quantification of sediment and nutrient loads to a river that is a public water supply source and restoration of the affected site will lead to a reduction of loads and improvements to water quality and aquatic habitat on the WFWR. The project is in the assessment and design phase with construction planned for 2021.
