THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO ORGANIZED SPORTS LEAGUES OF ANY TYPE AND THE ONLY SWIMMING POOLS ARE LOCATED IN HOTELS NEARLY 30 MILES AWAY. 14.3% OF WASHBURN COUNTY RESIDENTS LIVE IN POVERTY COMPARED TO 13.5% OF ALL WISCONSIN RESIDENTS AND THE OVERALL POPULATION HAS MEDIAN INCOME OF $43,268 COMPARED TO THE WISCONSIN AVERAGE OF $51,467.
