More about this organization
Mission
Founded in 2015, the Mustard Seed seeks to assist abuse survivors through educating our community of the resources available to help recover as well as charitable contributions to organizations that offer recovery support.
About
Brick & mortar store front - Mustard Seed's store front had 40,538 customers and 11,620 donors serviced in 2018. Each one of those customers and donors were opportunities to educate and talk about the mission which is to connect survivors of abuse to the resources needed to recover from those wounds, emotional, physical and spiritual. The educational component of our mission is extremely important and it sets the stage for a safe and acceptable place for our community to reach out for the help that they did not know was available to them. Because the topic of abuse is talked about regularly in the store, we are chipping away at the stigma of silence that often follows a survivor of abuse and prevents them from receiving healing.
