Mission

Bring successful college experiences to Oklahoma for those with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities who want to go to college and would benefit from the experience but typically are excluded or would not be successful without proper supports in place

About

In 2017 Lead Learn Live raised funding for the first Oklahoma college program. Simultaneously we forged relationships with universities interested in starting a program. Subsequent to year-end we entered an agreement with Northeastern State University to begin the Riverhawks Scholar program, the first comprehensive inclusive program for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Oklahoma. The first cohort of students entered the program in the fall 2018 semester.
