IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, SPECIFICALLY TO PROVIDE EDUCATION SERVICES TO CHILDREN RANGING FROM PRE-SCHOOL TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGES. THIS INCLUDES WORKING WITH STUDENTS TO DEVELOP A RESPECT FOR NATURE AND THE GLOBAL FAMILY AND TO GROW WITH A HEALTHY SPIRIT, A CLEAR INTELLECT, AND A STRONG CHARACTER. OUR SCHOOL WILL ALSO SERVE AS A TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER FOR MONTESSORI TEACHERS AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS. WE FURTHER OUR PURPOSES UNDER THIS PROGRAM BY CONDUCTING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: THE MISSION OF CABRILLO MONTESSORI SCHOOL IS TO GUIDE AND NURTURE THE NATURAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE WHOLE STUDENT. IN A MONTESSORI LEARNING COMMUNITY, STUDENTS DEVELOP A RESPECT FOR NATURE AND THE GLOBAL FAMILY AND WILL GROW WITH A HEALTHY SPIRIT, A CLEAR INTELLECT, AND A STRONG CHARACTER. CABRILLO MONTESSORI WILL PROVIDE PRE-PRIMARY, PRIMARY, KINDERGARTEN & LOWER ELEMENTARY MONTESSORI CURRICULUM TO OUR STUDENTS. THE MONTESSORI CURRICULUM PROVIDES FOR BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP ACTIVITIES IN THE AREAS OF PRACTICAL LIFE, AIDS TO INDEPENDENCE, MANIPULATIVES, AND LANGUAGE. OUR PROGRAMS ALSO INCLUDE ENRICHMENT STUDIOS WHICH ARE SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP ACTIVITIES IN THE AREAS OF ART, MUSIC, DANCE, COOKING AND GARDENING.FUNDRAISING AND ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES ARE PERFORMED BY THE BOARD MEMBERS. CLASSROOM CURRICULUM AND DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES ARE PERFORMED BY OUR PAID TEACHING STAFF. BACK OFFICE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BOOK KEEPING, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND RELATED ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS MAINTENANCE & LANDSCAPING SERVICES IS SUBCONTRACTED TO THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS.
