Network Convenings: Edloc hosts a series of convenings to help identify, cultivate and build the capacity of our members. Our national convenings have provided opportunities to build our members' knowledge and expertise around the policy platform and other topics. Importantly, the national convening has served to grow and connect the membership, develop our third way values, build skills, and align on our goals and priorities. Our convenings, with over 380 participants in 2019, have also filled a gap in the field to network and provide support to values-aligned, diverse leaders in education and related fields. Our affinity convenings help our members connect with members who are in similar roles to connect and collaborate on shared challenges and opportunities. Through our regional networks, members convene to strategize around how to advance policies critical to protecting and supporting our students, families, and communities and build relationships to create stronger black-latino coalitions.
