Painted Brain creates lasting community-based solutions to mental health challenges and the impact of social injustice through arts, advocacy, and enterprise.

Painted Brains provides psychoeducational groups that use art to bring people together. During groups, participants practice prosocial skills in a socialization group to decrease isolation, improve social communication, and develop healthy interpersonal skills. These mental health services encompass the majority of Painted Brains Funds. Art Group services connect us to 160 adults a month and our Speakers Bureau reaches 2,000 students a year. Painted Brain at the end of the year in program services had and additional $37,901.00 in accounts receivable at the end of 2018 that was recovered, in the recovered in 2019 tax year.
