WE HELP MEMBERS AND MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS UNDERSTAND AND NAVIGATE THROUGH THE COMPLICATED PLANNING PROCESS, CONSULT WITH TECHNICAL EXPERTS AND SCIENTISTS ON RECREATION AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ISSUES, AND HELP PEOPLE PROVIDE MEANINGFUL COMMENT AND PUBLIC INPUT TO AGENCIES AND GOVERNING BODIES. WE COORDINATE OUR ADVOCACY PLANNING WITH OTHER LOCAL, STATE, OR NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS TO MAXIMIZE IMPACT ON THE LAND-USE PLANNING PROCESS.
