Mission
To educate the general public in the history, legends, arts inventions and skills of the peoples and cultures from ancient times by holding workshops. Loyal Order of Reenactment Enthusiasts (LORE) encourages reading and creative projects in history through outreach programs to libraries, schools and other venues.
About
Our prime educational event is the Koroneburg Renaissance Festival, which took place in May and June of 2019 where we introduced over 12,000 people to the life and times of Renaissance Europe. The educational displays included historically accurate blacksmithing, paper making, canon demonstrations, period Renaissance jousting, Renaissance cooking methods, and Renaissance art and clothing styles. We hosted over 30 individual display camps showing different cultures and time periods during Renaissance Eueope. Each display was staffed with volunteers who educated visitors about their chosen era and culture through demonstrations and interactive activities.
