About this organization
Mission
Increase awareness of and support for the cognitive, behavioral, and physical health of U.S. military/veteran personnel.
About
Fight Oar Die completed its second Atlantic crossing in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, beating 2018's team's time by four days. 2019 wrapped up having added its second strategic partner, the Marcus Institute of Brain Health, a part of the University of Colorado's Anschutz Medical Facilities. The University of Denver remains a collaborative and strategic partner, having done research and provided support to the team before, during (crossing the ocean), and after the crossing, which provided a smoother deployment and return. Fight Oar Die continues to build these relationships in order to better serve the veteran population. The organization began a shift to include mental health initiatives and a scholarship program which will be implemented in 2020.
