Mission
Education Matters matches talent with opportunity. We believe that there are many determined and talented Zimbabwean students who lack only financial resources and information to better their educational futures. In 2020, we opened the USAP Community School, a residential 11th and 12th grade (A Level) school that educates high-achieving, low-income Zimbabwean students to excel at the world’s top universities and return home to build society.
About
The United Student Achievers Program (USAP) is a college access program which assists highly-talented and determined, economically-disadvantaged Advanced Level students to negotiate and finance the admissions process for international colleges and universities with the aim of producing highly-skilled and widely-educated leaders to build tomorrow's Zimbabwe. USAP began as part of EducationUSA in 1999 and also has programs in Malawi, Mongolia, and Uganda. USAP is transforming into the USAP Community School in January 2020, a residential 11th and 12th grade (A Level) school that educates high-achieving, low-income Zimbabwean students to excel at the world's top universities and return home to build society.
