In 2018, JDA International provided approximately $1,616,730 in training and development services to more than 99,000 people in Northern Afghanistan and Kurdistan/Iraq through our Water Access Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Agriculture activities. As part of our WASH program, we were able to install 10 wells with hand pumps in the districts of Dehdadi, Nahr e-Shahi, Mazar e-Sharif, and Balkh province. The wells provide clean water access to 6,984 people. Sawyer PointOne filters were also used as an alternative method of providing clean water as emergency relief to Charkint district where there is no available deep wells and ground levels impede the drilling of one. - Continued on Schedule O -
