Kisa Project is a two-year leadership course operated in Tanzania by Africaid TZ that prepares girls in their last two years of secondary school to attend university and create positive social change in their communities. In 2018, 98% of Kisa scholars continued to university compared to the 3% national average for girls. Africaid US has historically been Kisa's primary funding source, although grantors have increasingly provided funding directly to Africaid TZ, which demonstrates the confidence grantors have in our programs.
