The mission of Zaka Tel Aviv is to support programs offering assistance at times of disasters, such as Emergency response, search rescue and recovery, accident prevention, tend to the wounded, offer comfort to the afflicted, and take measures to honor the deceased, whether victims of terror, accidents or natural disasters, in accordance with the Jewish religion and belief.

For over twenty years, Zaka Tel-Aviv has been the elite emergency response unit of central Israel, serving in over 21 cities across the country with thousands of volunteers, and is recognized as a civil extension of Israel’s emergency services and the only emergency response unit authorized to operate in central Israel. Zaka Tel-Aviv is here to serve the people of Israel. We work day and night, doing everything we can in response to acts of terror, natural disasters, and tragedies big and small, to ensure the safety of all Israelis.
