Day arts: The day arts department is largely comprised of an arts-based day habilitation program for adults with developmental disabilities funded through the Medicaid waiver by the state of New Mexico. This program includes the exploratory arts studio which offers a large variety of arts activities in an open studio environment. Day arts offer many classes in all types of visual, performing, literary and media arts, taught by professional artists, as well as a plethora of arts and social based community activities to adults with a range of developmental disabilities. Day arts also supports two mixed-ability performing arts companies, Buen Viaje Dance and Equilibrium Theater.
