Operation of the New Mexico Health Information Exchange (NM HIE) under the name New Mexico Health Information Collaborative (NMHIC), public health reporting under contract with the state of New Mexico Department of Health (NM DOH), health services research, and professional education.

About

Expanded the development of the New Mexico Health Information Collaborative (NMHIC) health information exchange network, successfully building interfaces to the state's largest healthcare data providers. Provides HIE services including access to the NMHIC portal for viewing health information of patients and members across multiple health systems and notification of certain health incidents to hospitals, clinicians, and healthcare payer organizations. Established and maintains interfaces from 28 hospitals in the state for public health reporting and send data from these interfaces to NM DOH.
