Tuition-free classical charter schools that form the hearts and minds of Oklahoma students.
About
We are Oklahoma moms and dads who wanted something more for our children's education. We started Classically Formed Inc., an Oklahoma non-profit, in the summer of 2020 to bring public tuition-free classical education to Oklahoma. Tulsa Classical Academy is our first project. It will be the first public tuition-free classical charter school in the state of Oklahoma and will open to students throughout Tulsa County in the fall of 2023. While it will be the first such school in Oklahoma, it is not the first of its kind. There are many schools around the country like it and Oklahoma has been home to several private classical schools and homeschool groups for over twenty years. We have been accepted through a competitive application process by the Barney Charter School Initiative (BCSI) of Hillsdale College and will receive support from BCSI in the initial stages of school startup. We then intend to pursue a long-term affiliation and plan to use the Hillsdale College K-12 Curriculum.
