Through dynamic educational experiences, Borderlinks connects divided communities, raises awareness about the impact of border and immigration policies, and inspires action for social transformation. Borderlinks is an international leader in experiential education that works to raise awareness about the impact of border and immigration policies, and to inspire action for social transformation. About
Approximately 800 people participated in educational programs in Southern Arizona, along both sides of the US-Mexico border, and in Chiapas, Mexico. These delegations (immersion programs) vary in length from 1 day to a 3 month summer program. Participants learn first-hand about many complex issues relating to immigration, including social justice, community development, and the connection between migration and food systems, by meeting with community members and nonprofit organizations on both sides of the border. Borderlinks also offers workshops to churches, schools, and community groups, and offers staff time or other support to local organization efforts that match our mission.
