Mission

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center rescues and rehabilitates wildlife that has been injured, displaced, and orphaned. Once rehabilitated, they are returned to the wild. Wildlife education includes advice on living with wildlife and the importance of native wildlife to healthy ecosystems. Educational and humane scientific research opportunities are offered in the field of conservation medicine and environmental education. Sanctuary is provided to animals that cannot be released back to the wild.

Medical care and rehabilitation: Southwest Wildlife operates a veterinary clinic providing medical care for sick, injured or orphaned mammals. Through our rehabilitation work, more than 70% of intake animals have been released back into the wild.Animal Sanctuary: Southwest Wildlife specializes in providing sanctuary for large mammals such as black bear, mountain lions, and Mexican gray wolves. Animals that have lost the ability to survive in the wild can live out their lives in our accredited sanctuary.
