JTNN supports collaboration with individuals, community agencies, businesses and government to best utilize available resources and reach a wide public audience through (1) development of multi-faceted anti-drug media campaigns aimed at drug education and prevention and increasing access to intervention and treatment services (2) providing training opportunities for many types of groups: parents, social workers, law enforcement personnel, medical personnel, and employers to help them identify signs of drug use, co-occurring disorders, codependency and enabling behavior, and the effects on health, family, and work (3) providing resources to businesses to help them enforce underage drinking laws (4) working with specialty courts to provide assessments and referrals for persons with drug use disorders. Awareness and prevention programs reached approximately 10,000 youth and adults during the year.
