About this organization
Mission
NMACP main objectives are to provide an organization through which community action agencies (CAAs), in the state of New Mexico may work together to further the goals and objectives of the CSBG Act and its amendments. NMACP serves to bring about more effective cooperation between the CAAs and the commission or departments of state, federal, regional offices and other public/private organizations pledged to the alleviation of poverty. NMACP develops plans and implements programs to further the professional skill through continuing education activities, conferences and workshops. Finally NMACP provides a forum to identify mutual concerns, issues, problems and needs of CAAs/CSBG entities and their professional service relationships.
