The Los Angeles Review of Books (LARB) is dedicated to promoting and disseminating rigorous and engaging writing on literature and the arts. A vibrant, multimedia platform, LARB exists to cover, represent, and shape today's cultural landscape in a manner that reflects Los Angeles's catholicity of taste and embrace of diversity. Through its website, channels, radio show, publishing workshop, print journal, podcasts, short films, events, and book press, LARB fosters and sustains new arts establishments and creative industries, increases the visibility of women and minority artists, and provides multiple platforms for public discourse not just on literature and culture, but also on issues of equality, justice, sustainability, and community.
