Provided sequential glass arts instruction to 650 students, ages 12-20 at three public school locations in the Tacoma and Franklin-Pierce School districts. Programs offered include in-school daytime elective classes, after-school, summer school, evening and summer Team Production for advanced students, and Arts Connect for court-involved young women.Completed eight sessions of Arts Connect including eight culminating public showcases for young women in the arts connect program.Events conducted at the Jason Lee Middle School included: three Winter Warmer artists' demonstrations; one Arts Night Out community event; one Back to School night and two summer parent events; one Arts Month Studio Tour.Events conducted at the Museum of Glass included: monthly "Free 3rd Thursday" glass art demonstrations; one week-long summer artists' residency; apple and pumpkin workshops. Provided glass art demonstrations at the Benaroya Wing opening at the Tacoma Art Museum. Engaged in two visits to the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA for the advanced students. Eight out of eight of the Team Production seniors graduated high school (100%) and six out of eight graduates are enrolled to attend college (75%).
