Christie's Place is a nonprofit social service organization in San Diego County that provides HIV/AIDS education, support and advocacy. Our mission is to empower women, children and families whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS to take charge of their health and wellness.
About
Early Intervention Services: Integrated Services for Women, Children and Families included these service components: coordinated service/drop in center, including resource coordination and information and referral services, mental health services, childcare and babysitting, family case work/peer advocacy, outreach, medical case management, and transportation. The concepts of empowerment and family centered care are essential components of these services. Services are accessible, sensitive and respectful of the unique needs and cultural diversity of those living with and affected by HIV. Client service utilization statistics follow: Coordinated Services Center Services 15,372 visits; ( July 2018-June 2019) Information & Referral 2,108 units of service; Outreach Services 225 units of service; Childcare/Babysitting Services 1,798 hours of service; Medical Case Management 1,137 units of service; Non-Medical Case Management 3,708 units of service; Mental Health Counseling - 629 counseling sessions; and Transportation Vouchers- 1,578 vouchers
