Mission

To protect and restore the ecosystem of the Southern Sierra Nevada - including both the Sequoia National Forest and the Giant Sequoia Monument - through monitoring, enforcement, litigation, and public awareness. By acting as the eyes, ears, and voice of the forest, SFK seeks to improve land management practices; promote land stewardship; promote enforcement of existing laws and regulations; implement public awareness programs and offer assistance to local land management agencies.
