THE KITCHEN SERVED 966 CONGREGATE MEALS AND 1,273 MEALS FOR MEALS ON WHEELS (MOW) PROGRAM. IN ADDITION TO THESE MEALS, MOW SERVED AN ADDITIONAL 2,313 MEALS FROM LOCAL VENDORS. THE KITCHEN HAD 8 VOLUNTEERS FOR 2018 FOR A TOTAL NUMBER OF 671.5 HOURS.EACH SPRING THE CENTER HOLDS AN EGG HUNT FOR THE LOCAL CHILDREN. THERE IS THE TRADITIONAL EGG HUNT IN THREE AGE CATEGORIES. PRIZES ARE THE CANDY IN PLASTIC EGGS AND STUFFED ANIMALS FOR EACH CHILD. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 64 CHILDREN PARTICIPATING THIS YEAR. A SOUP AND DESSERT BAR WAS AVAILABLE. ALL FOOD, CANDIES, AND STUFFED ANIMALS WERE DONATED.A ST. PATRICK'S DAY DINNER WAS SERVED TO 21 INDIVIDUALS IN MARCH. FOOD AND HELP DONATED. ANNUAL PLANT SALE WAS HELD THE FIRST SATURDAY OF JUNE. FLOWERS, VEGETABLE, AND BERRY BUSHES ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE CENTER. INCOME: $1,943: THE PLANTS WERE DONATED BY LOCAL GROWERS.RUMMAGE SALE: TWO RUMMAGE SALES WERE HELD IN THE SUMMER. INCOME: $1,703.21.SENIOR BAZAAR WAS HELD THE SECOND SATURDAY IN NOVEMBER. SPACE/TABLES WERE SOLD TO VENDORS; THERE WERE HOMEMADE JAMS, BOOKS AND KNIVES FOR SALE, AND A SILENT AUCTION. A SOUP AND DESSERT BAR WAS MADE AVAILABLE. INCOME: $1,047.THERE WERE 36 CHILDREN IN ATTENDENCE AT THE BREAKFAST WITH SANTA. ALL YOU COULD EAT PANCAKES AND A VISIT WITH SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS WHO HAD CANDY CANES TO HAND OUT. THE CHILDREN WERE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE BOUNCE HOUSE IN THE LOBBY.THE CENTER HAS OPEN EXERCISE FOR TWO HOURS, THREE DAYS A WEEK. THE AVERAGE ATTENDANCE IS APPROXIMATELY 8. SENIOR STRENGTH AND BALANCE CLASSES ARE HELD TWICE PER WEEK WITH AN AVERAGE ATTENDANCE OF 4.
