Mission
Rooster Run Foundation is about way more than roosters. Located at Chicken Foot Ranch in Penngrove, CA it offers a safe and (if needed) permanent home to horses with behavioral or difficult to manage physical problems, older farm and companion animals, hens past their prime and of course - a ‘bachelor pad’ of unwanted roosters. We believe in the animals freedom of choice and as such confine them as little as possible allowing them to live in large social groups.
