Mission

Super Sprinkles Racing exists to make cycling and racing accessible to women, transgender, femme and other under-represented new riders in the San Francisco Bay Area.

About

The inaugural team was formed in 2021 by avid cyclists in San Francisco attentive to the lack of diversity within the cycling and racing communities. In order to promote inclusivity and diversity within the cycling and racing community, we formed a race team wherein membership was granted based on interest to race. Additionally, we brought in coaching expertise from Sofi Marin, a former pro-cyclist and now cycling coach, to serve as team coach and directeur sportif for our team. In our first year as a race team, our FTWNB team reached the podium in at least 10 events and over 30 individuals raced for the first time ever.

In our second year, we're planning on growing our support for FTWNB riders, including increased visibility for racers, better support for event logistics greater mentorship, and a more inclusive community.
