Northwest Youth Corps (NYC) is an innovative non-profit organization, which provides opportunities for youth and young adults to learn, grow, and experience success.
About
Youth Corps programs: features an outdoor camping and service learning program format for youth ages 15 to 19. Youth Corps teams operate throughout Oregon, Washington, and Northern California during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Youth are assigned to nine member teams. Camping teams camp near each week's assigned service project and rendezvous each weekend with other teams for outdoor recreation adventures. Non-residential teams serve M-F on conservation service project within their local community. Both program formats focus on community, challenge, leadership, empowerment, and education.
