About
The Support-Information Education Program provides individuals and families with mutual support skills, information on community resources, and mental health education. In 2019, we provided classes and support group meetings attended 1,651 times by people seeking formal education or personal support. We also responded to 1,760 personal calls or visits from people requesting specific information and provided general information to an additional 3,176 people at community meetings. Socialization Program - provides activities for the mentally ill and/or their families to reduce isolation and enhance discussion with peers and within and between families with ill members. In 2019, there were approximately 437 contacts in these activities. Client Assistance Program - provides assistance to individuals that have a mental illness by providing donated clothing and small gifts at Christmas time. In 2019, we had over 1,596 people assisted by this program.
