In 2018, key projects included: 1) Restoring 200 acres of floodplain and river habitats on Turtle Flats, Glassbar Island and Willamette Confluence Preserve at the confluence of the middle and coast forks of the Willamette River; 2) Improving aquatic habitats for fish and planting native trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers on 60 acres to restore five habitat types; 3) Operating a native plant nursery that propagates over 100 species of plants for restoration projects; 4) Clearing invasive weeds and planting natives; and 5) Restoring rare oak savanna and prairies.
