Mission
Rescue, restore, and empower through Christ-centered communities of transformation. Since 1949, the Fresno Mission has been helping homeless and at-risk individuals with not only physical needs of food, clothing and shelter, but providing spiritual support that comes from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything we do is Christ-centered. We're more than a soup kitchen or flop house. The Fresno Mission is a Christ-centered organization open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. No fees are ever charged for services to the homeless. The Fresno Mission endeavors to glorify God by meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the least, the last and the lost in our community.
About
Provided shelter to the homeless - 87,536 nights of safety and restful sleep; provided approximately 288,000 meals to the homeless; and provided drug and alcohol recovery programs. Transformed 51 graduates from recovery programs, 55 program graduates found employment, and 31 enrolled in college. Provided intake services for 4,142 individuals. The mission's primary financial support comes from contributions from individuals and businesses.
