To promote philanthropic activity in order to mitigate social evils for the betterment of the people of Laytonville and the vicinity and their guests.

About

Laytonville Healthy Start Coalition's drug free communities program served over 250 residents and teenagers. Our drug free communities program hosted numerous community and parent awareness events about substance abuse information, as well as hosted health fairs at the local middle and high schools to increase student awareness about the dangers of substance abuse. Our parent/community event on 'marijuana and the adolescent brain' by educator Ralph Cantor, was broadcast on our sponsored radio program, 'Youth Speaks Out' and was downloaded over 21,000 times in 2013.
