ILRCSF's mission is to ensure that people with disabilities are full social and economic partners, both within their families and in a fully accessible community.

About

During fiscal year 2018-2019, ILRCSF served over 1200 people with disabilities seeking assistance with one or more of the following: general Independent Living Skills, long and short-term disability benefits, assistance procuring in-home help, reasonable accomodations in school and the workplace, assistance finding food, low-cost healthcare, accessible transportation, support and information regarding budgeting and other personal finance issues, their rights under the Americans With Disabilities Act, and information/referrals regarding a wide variety of issues related to disability/accessibility. We provided over 120 loans of Assistive Technology, and provided gently used wheelchairs, walkers and other durable medical equipment-including a hydraulic lift-to over 20 individuals, free of charge. In addition, we served 212 individuals information and advocacy regarding tenants rights, and helped 196 individuals apply for subsidized housing. (Continued on Schedule O)
