Community support and partnership are essential to the services we provide and donor contributions of any size make a significant impact on our community.Renown Health Foundation, founded in 1985, carries forward an essential tradition - pairing donor support with our community's most vital needs. When you support Renown Health Foundation, your gift stays here to fund and support patients through enhanced prevention and education programs, state-of-the-art equipment, and important medical research. The Foundation also maintains a patient assistance fund to help reduce some of the barriers of accessing healthcare for our neediest families and children.Here are a few recent projects and programs that show the impact of your generosity: * Spiritual Center & Estelle J. Kelsey Interfaith Sanctuary * Children's Infusion Services * Healing Arts Program * Child Life Program * Healthy Nevada ProjectCurrently, Renown Health Foundation is focusing on funding support services that will address critical behavioral health and addiction issues in northern Nevada, a Hospice House program that will offer a special way of caring for patients and families facing end of life issues, and expanding the current Neonatal ICU where a specialized team cares for babies born too early or too sick.For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, Renown Health Foundation, along with its parent, Renown Health and its subsidiaries, provided more than $126 million in benefit to the community (using community benefit numbers gathered by the Nevada Hospital Association using state-approved criteria to ensure consistency).
