education grants for graduate students enrolled in u.s. universities in physical science programs. 58 graduate college students enrolled, 58 funded. the npsc's primary objective: increase the number of qualified us-citizen phd's in the physical sciences and related engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool of women and historically underrepresented minorities. npsc accomplishes this objective by assisting corporations and government agencies and labratories in awarding doctoral fellowships to outstanding us students.
