Mission

The mission of the Kelso Public Schools Foundation is to fund and give scholarships to further the education of deserving students and graduates; and to fund programs and activities in Kelso Public Schools which benefit a substantial segment of students and for which public resources are insufficient or unavailable.

About

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Although completely separate from the Kelso Public Schools, the Foundation works hand-in-hand with the district to help students succeed.

SCHOLARSHIPS The first scholarship awarded by the foundation was in 1992 in the amount of $2000. Currently the Foundation awards in excess of $160,000 each year.

GRANTS The first grant awarded by the Foundation was in 1997 in the amount of $9,600. Currently, the Foundation awards in excess of $15,000 each year.
