Dedicated to involving our community in restoring wild salmon populations for future generations.

About

Habitat restoration: 16,659 native trees and shrubs were planted to restore nearly 14 acres of riparian habitat along local streams. 203 acres of native plant care and invasive plant removal was completed to maintain riparian habitat projects. 2,586 acres of floodplain were surveyed for knotweed along 36 miles of the Skagit and Sauk rivers. Four miles of stream was opened to salmon by removing fish passage barriers. 6,254 community members were reached through community engagement programs. 8,757 hours were donated by community volunteers. 1,880 students were engaged in environmental science education programs.
