Wells Fargo Home for the Holidays, December 9, 2017 Memorial Auditorium SacramentoSome 3000 patrons joined us at the huge Memorial Auditorium to celebrate the season. WE ONCE AGAIN ADDED A SECOND PERFORMANCE a 2 PM Matinee. This was a real crowd pleaser.The large 150-member SCSO Chorus was joined by the 40-voice Sacramento Childrens Chorus Lynn Stevens, Conductor, our 50 member professional Orchestra, Baritone Matt Hanscom Santa Claus, a Womens Barbershop Quartet and Puppets from Green Valley Theater all conducted by Donald Kendrick. The amazing audience singalong lifted the roof off of Memorial Auditorium and it was our pleasure to have 100 Veterans as our Guests (with their families).NEW KVIE PARTNERSHIP We received some great television coverage by partnering with KVIE and their Donors of these 2 programs.NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATIONWe added meaning to our 2 large-scale event by collaborating with 2 amazing young children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation: A talented young Conductor and a terrific young Cellist who played a couple of selections in our professional orchestra.
