Mission

The Regeneration Project is an interfaith ministry devoted to deepening the connection between ecology and faith. Our goal is to help people of faith recognize and fulfill their responsibility for the stewardship of creation. We do this through educational programs for clergy and congregations that achieve tangible environmental results and impact public policy.

About

National program expenditures funded our national campaigns and programs, from organizational support for state affiliates, to policy advocacy, to national educational campaigns. A few highlights were the climate march in San Francisco, where an estimated 3,000 people of faith participated, the Multi-Faith Service of Wondering and Commitment at Grace Cathedral, and the faith-based workshops we hosted as part of the Global Climate Action Summit in September. In 2018 IPL earned 965 news media mentions and 3,887 social media posts, generating millions of impressions. We regularly communicated with over 86,000 people on our email list and reached more than 22,000 congregations. In addition, our staff and board leaders spoke at dozens of faith gatherings around the country.
