Mission
The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum Association’s mission is to preserve the physical legacy, historical context, cultural landscape, and experience of rail transportation. Programs address the historical, social, economic, and technical impact of railroading with emphasis on the railroads of San Diego County and our connecting partners in the southwestern United States and Mexico.
About
Historic Train Operation The Museum's mission is the collection, preservation, restortation and operation of vintage railroad equipment at its own facility and on the historic SD&A Railway for the education of current and future generations. This includes maintaining a research library for railroad transportation.
