P.S. Arts is dedicated to advancing equity and opportunity for children and youth by providing arts education in systemically under-resourced public schools and communities.
About
The organization provides high-quality California visual and performing arts (VAPA) standards-based arts education programs in music, dance, drama, and visual arts. In addition to in-school and after-school instruction, the organization provides support for student art exhibits, public performances, community arts events, field trips and professional development workshops for classroom teachers and teaching artists. Currently, P.S. Arts serves more than 25,000 students and community members. Partner districts include: Los Angeles Unified, Lawndale Elementary, Hawthorne, Reef-Sunset, Compton, Inglewood and Santa Monica/Malibu Unified, districts where arts programs have been reduced or eliminated.
