Mission

The organization was founded in 1989 by current executive director, Amy Lethbridge and incorporated in 1991. From 1996 until the start of fiscal year ending June 30, 2017, the organization operated as a division under Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority. The organization name until the start of the previous fiscal year was Mountains Education Program.

About

CNC residential outdoor education program. The CNC residential outdoor education program at King Gillette Ranch and Temescal Gateway Park provides a safe, challenging, fun, and dynamic experiences for the 5th and 6th graders from throughout Southern California. Our three-day to five-day program typically run Monday through Friday afternoon including lessons, activities, and hikes. CNC's outdoor residential camps services 1,038 participants during the fiscal year ending in June 30, 2018.
