About

Villa Yucatan, a non-profit organization, is a rental housing project for qualified low-income residents located in Pasadena, California. Villa Yucatan was organized in 1972 for the purpose of acquiring, developing and operating a group home of fourteen units under the Section 236 of the National Housing Act of 1937. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulates such projects. Federal funding is provided through HUD's Section 8 Housing Assistance Program.
