Mission

To provide a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families and to develop other programs and partnerships aimed at improving the lives of children in Hawaii and the Pacific.

About

The organization's program includes the following services: House services - provides a home-away-from-home filled with the spirit of aloha and ohana for families with a seriously ill or injured child from the neighbor islands and Pacific region while the child is receiving medical treatment in Honolulu. In 2019, the house program served 475 persons. Volunteer services - supplements the organization's workforce, providing much needed manpower and resources to help RMHC-HI meet its mission and service goals. In 2019, 1,527 volunteers performed 131,711 hours of service, performing a multitude of tasks at the organization's two residential facilities.
