With awe-filled joy and true hospitality of heart, Visitation House provides mothers with material, emotional and spiritual assistance, in a family environment with 24/7 support staff. Residents are required to participate in all life-skill classes offered by the organization unless working or in school. It is the mission of Visitation House to build up empowered, self-sustaining, and loving family units - giving both mom and baby a chance for a new joy-filled life. About

Provided housing, meals and life skills education to homeless pregnant women. Visitation House opened its doors on May 31, 2005 and since that day we have welcomed 164 women and 63 healthy babies. Some of the women who came to us were able to find other living arrangements before delivering their baby - with family members or at a shelter closer to their relatives - which is why we count fewer babies than mothers.
